| Saskatchewan has been famous for it's bear hunting for many years. Things like record book black bears, color phase bears, and large numbers of bears, have all been bringing hunters back again and again. Now there is another reason to come to Saskatchewan and that reason is LLOYD LAKE LODGE. Until the spring of 2000, this area had not been hunted. During that first season, we had two hunters and they produced 2 P&Y bears. Our spring 2001 season we had eight hunters, they harvested 8 bear including 2 P&Y and 1 color phase. The following years have been as good and getting better, from the size and number of the bears being seen, the potential is endless. The record book is still open to page 1 for our bear hunts. |

Bear hunting is so new to our area and the bears are so plentiful, that the record book will be written at Lloyd Lake Lodge. Most all our hunters are seeing mulitple bears. Many bears harvested carry a blend of colors - typically black, brown, blonde or cinnamon. If you are looking for an awesome and unique black bear hide, this is the place for you.
Our spring black bear hunting, starts the beginning of May and usually runs for six weeks. We also run a fall bear hunt, starting in early September. Our hunt numbers are limited and we take no more than 6 hunters per week, so book your hunt early to save disappointment. |
Bow, muzzleloader and rifle hunters are all welcome in bear hunting camp at Lloyd Lake Lodge! |
