Our history
My brother Derrick and I have had the luxury of fishing Lloyd Lake for 25+ years. Our adventures began at the age of 5 when our grandfather determined we were old enough to join the men on their yearly endeavor to this remote northern paradise. Together we have wreaked havoc on thousands of walleye, given old slough sharks a sore tooth or two, and on occasion been known to succomb to the exhausting strain and stress of countless ornery lake trout.
Many have said that Lloyd Lake is in our blood. Our memories are innumerable and exist in our hearts and of those who know us. We have used this lodge as a place of refuge, solace, and times of our greatest joys. It is truly a place where dreams are made, relationships are forged, and friendships only grow stronger.
As brothers we have hunted and fished in the many different parts of the world; still Lloyd Lake Lodge is the dearest to our hearts. For us it is a place where father and son, grandpa's and grandchildren, and family and friends come together to share stories, enjoy laughs and naturally catch fish after fish.
